Does she mean it?? leave a 'never married woman'?

Billionaire talk show queen and actress Oprah Winfrey aged 59, has been dating Stedman Graham aged 62, since 1986...can you believe that??? That's 27 years - longer than a lot of marriages.
Well recently in an interview, Oprah said although she considered marriage after she attended Tina Turner's wedding in Switzerland in July, she is quiet sure she would leave the world as a woman who 'never got married'

When asked if she would leave earth as a “never-married” woman, screen goddess-Oprah was so sure about her feelings. “Yes,” she told Access Hollywood. “Yeah, I think that’s my final answer.”...
"If you ever interviewed him (Stedman), he would tell you that had we married, we would not be together today, because he’s a traditional man and this is a very untraditional relationship.”
She explained that she couldn’t be a wife because the word holds responsibilities she doesn’t feel capable of handling.
